PRINCIPAL’S PAWSE
SANTA SHOP RECALL NOTICE
It was recently brought to our attention that one of the items we sold at
our Santa Shop has been recalled. The supplier has asked us to assist in
taking the steps necessary to coordinate a voluntary recall of the "Winnie
The Pooh Baby Plate Set". If you purchased one of these please stop by the
front office for information on who to contact for a replacement.
Our AC renovation is now complete so the office and clinic has officially
moved back to the 300 building. Mrs. Nelson's class is now located in room
702 and Mrs. Bearden is in room 704.

MRS. MCCASKILL’S CORNER
The Sat-9 test for the first and second graders will be administered on
Tuesday, March 29 and Wed, March 30. The practice test will come home
today and parents are asked to review it with their child. We want all of
our boys and girls to get a good nights rest, eat breakfast, and arrive to
school on time and ready for testing.

ART NEWS
We had another great painting session last Saturday. Ashley Hibbert and
Mary Rose Buchanan painted for the girls, and Jim Eisman and Jacob Slupecki
painted for the boys. They all worked very hard and we finished up our base
coats. This Friday (teacher planning day) we will have our next session.
Please sign up as we have some spaces left. We will start by painting the
night sky in the boy's restroom. Then we will paint the sun shining through
the water in the girl's restroom. We have had to cancel our April 9th
session as that is the day of the Chaires Spring Festival. Please make note
of it on your calendars. Remember, your parents must sign the handout and
drop you off at the art room. If you have any questions or concerns you may
call me at Chaires or Email me at [log in to unmask]

WALK-A -THON NEWS
Great job students, parents and staff! Chaires walked a total of 819.25
miles on the day of the walkathon to raise a whopping $4,393.54. You will
be seeing some wonderful additions to the PE program due to your hard work
and effort. Brandi Abbott in Ms. Derrenberger's class raised $501.00.
WOW!! Thanks for your participation and keep walking!

Parents we need your help!!!!
We are having problems in the car drop off area. Students need to be
dropped off only in the covered area and not in the grassy area. Our goal
is to keep all of our students safe at all times. Have a wonderful Spring
Break.
