Thank You! Gracias! Merci! Danke! Grazie! Arigato! Asante! Many,
many thanks to everyone who made our Spring Festival such a wonderful
success! While there were clouds and raindrops - there were enough smiles
to create a sun shining atmosphere! PTO told us we had a record breaking
year and raised over $10,000 for the school!!! Listed below are the
sponsors who helped us out: Phoenix Consulting, Inc., Capital City Bank,
Full Press Apparel, The Coffee Beanery, Fountain Enterprises, George &
Hutcheson Engineering, Inc., Maxwell's BP, Nino's, PC Concepts, Publix,
Skate World, and Tymes Remembered and Steak N Shake.

Parent Input for Class Placement
I'd like to remind parents to send in your letters! We have begun
accepting parent letters for the next school year describing the type of
teacher and learning environment that is best for your child. Remember, do
not mention names of specific teachers or identifiable information.
Instead, just describe what works best for your child! Please address
your letter(s) to Mrs. Moss and turn them in by May 26th.

MOVING OVER THE SUMMER?
Are you moving over the summer? Will your child be attending a different
school? If so, please call Linda Oslowski at 878-8534. She will prepare a
withdrawal form to be completed by the last day of school (5/26/06). The
office will keep a copy of the completed form and send the original home
with your child or you may come by and pick it up. This will ensure that
your child gets transferred to the correct school over the summer. If you
have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the office.
McCASKILL'S CORNER
Our students did an OUTSTANDING job with their Science Fair Projects. We
are proud of all of our students just as we know you are. There is still a
lot to learn during our last weeks that we have left. Please review your
child’s planner each night for activities, etc. that will going on in their
classroom. We still have some boys and girls that are not following the
rules in the cafeteria and the hallway. Please remind your child that they
should walk not run in the hallway and to talk softly while they are eating
their lunch in the cafeteria. We expect each student to concentrate on
their class work until the end of the school year. Thank you for your
continued support. “Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true
education.” Have a wonderful weekend.

IMMUNIZATION CLINIC
Leon County Health Department will provide a special Immunization clinic at
Governor's Square Mall on Saturday, April 29, 2006 from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
The clinic will be located on the lower level in the Dillard's wing.
Infants and children including children needing immunizations for
kindergarten or seventh grade attendance may be immunized during this
special clinic. All children receiving immunizations through the Health
Department must by accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parents
should bring a copy of their child's complete immunization record. For
further information, please call the Leon County Health Department at 488-
2223.

Project Keyboard
Our Music Department is very excited about starting the keyboard lab.
Thanks to many generous parents and our PTO we were able to purchase the
keyboards and stands. The only items we need are AA batteries. Donations
can be dropped off in the front office.
Upcoming Events!

Please mark your calendar and plan to join us for these upcoming events!
Please note that the items with an X indicate that we will be seeking
parent volunteers to assist us. If you are able to assist, please contact
the front office by calling 878- 8534.
