All about WRITING
A Seminar For parents!

The Chaires School Advisory Council is sponsoring an evening event to
inform parents about the increased writing requirements for student
promotion.  Please plan to join us on Tuesday, November 30th from 5:30 –
6:30 p.m. in the Chaires Cafeteria.

Gia Kolias from the Leon County Schools Student Assessment Office will
present to parents the process of scoring student writing.  She will give
parents practical suggestions on how to help your child become a better
impromptu writer!

Please be sure to join us!  We will have FREE snacks, drinks, babysitting
and homework passes for all of the students of parents that attend!  We
will also award the class at each level (primary K-2, intermediate 3-5)
that has the highest percentage of parent participation with a pizza party!
