PRINCIPAL’S PAWSE
On behalf of the faculty, staff and students at Chaires, I would like to
thank all of the Chaires parents, relatives, and community members who have
made this such a successful school year. We have had so many exciting
events and memorable experiences that you made possible or shared in with
us. If you have a need to contact the school during the summer, our office
hours are 7:00-5:30, Monday-Thursday (except we will be closed on
holidays). We hope that each of you will have a safe and enjoyable
summer. I also hope that each of you will continue to encourage your child
to read each day this summer!

MRS. MCCASKILL’S CORNER
It is early, but you may want to mark your calendar for Friday, August 12,
2005 from 12:30pm-2:00pm. This will be our Orientation Day for students to
meet their teachers for the upcoming school year. If you are not able to
come, you may call the office after 12:30pm that day to find out who your
child's teacher will be. The first day of school will be Monday, August
15, 2005. The school hours will remain the same next year (7:30am-
1:50pm). Our first bell rings at 7:25am and the tardy bell is at 7:30am.
Have a safe and restful summer!
