pickup a soda tab each time they pass the table to keep track of their
laps. That total count will e transfered by a volunteer to the clas master

envelopes for each class and do a money count each day to put into the safe.

3.VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION Friday February 18th 7:15-7:45
Julie reports having 15 + people that have 100+ recorded hours that will
receive an umbrella. These golf umbrella's are from the school and we will
need to buy them from school, or replenish school's supply. But this
allowed us to have them for the breakfast.(Thank you Christi and Gary(-:)
Julie also made individual name magnets, door prizes and gifts bags. Last
years Panther Prowl tshirts will be given to out at breakfast also.

4.Volunteer Breakfast Follow-up- Breakfast went very well. Julie reports
having made 40 gift bags and they all were gone. The umbrellas were a big
hit, as were the tshirts. Many wore their tshirts out to assist with the
walkathon. I personally wonder if we might consider a volunteer breakfast
get together in the beginning of the year?

5.SCHOOL AWARDS CENTER
Awards have been ordered/pd for but not yet received from Glasshopper.
Molly and Patti will be in charge of the Awards Center for the next awards
ceremony after Spring Break.
PTO voted to approve payment of $300-$500 of Gold Dog tags purchased by
school for the last awards ceremony.

6. NEW SCHOOL SIGN
Kim spoke with SIGNS PLUS whom we purchased the Stop Sign in the cafe
from. We get a 5% discount from them, which would cover shipping. the two
prices quoted are well within our $6000 budgeted for a new sign. A third
price reequest for the double decker sign was requested. This quote should
be in by next meeting on the 25th. Concern is over how high the sign can go
for good visibility, trees, fence, traffic, location?

music program again. Looking at calendar , sale wiill need to begin very
soon. Nina will call company to get materials sent out.Tentative dates
