PRINCIPAL’S PAWS
I’m so proud of the Chaires students! We had a wonderful celebration on
Thursday morning to recognize the accomplishments of those students who
earned awards during the first grading period. Not all students were
eligible for awards, but they were all encouraged to set a goal in order to
receive one next nine weeks.
During our School Advisory Council meeting this week, we decided to offer a
parent training on the Writes Upon Request and FCAT Writing tests so that
parents will know exactly how to help their children with writing at home.
Please stay tuned to an upcoming flyer for more information! If our
turnout is great, we’ll plan special FCAT and SAT9 Reading and Math
informational sessions, as well.

MRS. MCCASKILL’S CORNER
WHAT A GREAT WEEK WE HAVE HAD! There is a lot of learning going on in all

help us as much as possible. Thank you parents for sending us such GREAT
KIDS! Our 4th and 5th grade students will soon be involved in an
information session on Sexual Harassment in School. This session will
include a 20 minute video entitled, “Respecting Each Other: Sexual
