To the parents of 1st and 2nd grade students:


You are receiving this letter because your child is a first or second grade
student at a school for which the District has not yet received the results
of the SAT/10 Norm-Referenced Test (NRT) administered during the spring
this year.  Previously, we had been told by the vendor, Harcourt
Assessment, that the tests would be processed in a timely manner and the
District would receive the Reports in time to be sent home at the end of
the school year.  Unfortunately, Harcourt has not met the timeline and the
District has not yet received the results.  Harcourt now informs us that
the Reports are expected to be delivered next week.  At that time, schools
will include those results in making decisions about minimum competencies
and inform you of the availability of the Reports.  These Reports along
with your child’s report cards will be mailed to your home.

Leon County Schools share in your disappointment concerning this delay.  We
will be communicating with the vendor to prevent a reoccurrence.  If you
have questions, please contact your child’s school or the Leon County
