We will be administering the FCAT on Monday, February 26, 2007; Tuesday,
February 27, 2007; and Wednesday February 28,2007. All ninth and tenth
graders will be testing on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday,along with all
eleventh graders on Wednesday.  On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday ONLY
twelfth graders who have not yet succeded in passing will be taking the
Reading/Math portion of the FCAT.  On Monday and Tuesday ONLY eleventh
graders who have not yet succeeded in passing the Reading/Math portion of
the FCAT will be testing.  For students that have passed the Reading/Math
portion of the test, these days will be an opportunity for eleventh and
twelfth graders to be involved in on campus study hall or off campus
educational experiences if so desired. They will be excused from school
until testing is over at approximately 12:30pm. This information was sent
home with students earlier this week and the forms were due back at
Rickards today (Friday February 23). ALL STUDENTS MUST BE ON CAMPUS BY
12:30pm ON THE TESTING DATES.


Please be aware of the cell phone rule. The owner of a ringing cell phone
will have their test invalidated.  A student will have their test
invalidated if he/she has a cell phone in his/her possession, even if it is
not used. PLEASE, turn it off and put it in your bookbag/locker BEFORE
entering your classroom for testing.
