The scale scores for the FAST assessment have changed. The provisional scores that were used prior to the Winter 2023 FAST administration have been replaced with B.E.S.T scale scores. The scale scores for the FAST PM2 assessment will reflect the new scale scores. Additionally, the FAST PM1 scale scores have been retrofitted to the new B.E.S.T. scale and retrofitted PM1 scale scores have been uploaded to FRS and the Family Portal.
We have so many jackets, coats, sweaters and hoodies in our lost and found. If not claimed - these items will be donated to those in need after 12/15/23. If you suspect your student may have an item in the lost in found, please remind them to check the lost and found during their lunch period. The lost and found rack is usually rolled out to the sidewalk during pickup from EDEP.

Every year in November, families across the world take part in Diabetes Awareness Month. World Diabetes Day is on November 14th, first created in 1991 by the International Diabetes Foundation and the World Health Organization. Our Roberts Red Fox Fun Run was a huge success! We met our goal, raising over $90,000 for enhancements and experiences around our Roberts campus benefiting each and every one of our students, teachers and staff.

Dear families, The structure of this year's Fall Festival is similar in nature to the Fall Festivals of yester-year; which means it is driven by parent volunteers. The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a decision-making group made up of school administrators, teachers, parents, community members, and other stakeholders. Next year will be my 35th year in education and I have decided to retire at the end of June 2024. The Florida Department of Education has updated the names and coding of events that are to be reported in the School Environmental Safety Incident Reporting (hereafter referred to as SESIR.) SESIR pertains to safety incidents that occur on campus. SESIR events are not exclusive to students, and anyone who commits a SESIR worthy act on a school campus will have their action listed on that schools SESIR report. On January 17th, new guidelines were introduced for SESIR reporting from Rule 6A-1.0017,F.A.C, School Environmental Safety Incident Reporting. In summary, the changes have expanded the reporting requirements of schools and school districts
We have been accommodating at car drop-off by keeping the gate open past 8:30 - allowing parents to drop students off late without checking in through the office. Tomorrow morning, we will begin closing the gate at 8:30. If you arrive at car drop-off and the gate is closed, you will need to pull in the front parking lot, walk your child in, and sign them in as tardy. As we have shared before, the car-drop off process is moving quickly and there is no line at 8:00. Please leave your house earlier so you can drop them off

Should a parent/legal guardian choose to allow their student to participate in a civic or legislative event, they should follow LCS attendance policies (LCS Policy 5200) and procedures and sign their student out from school, and/or notify the school of the expected absence and the reason for the absence. These absences will be excused
Our 4th and 5th grade yearbook staff has been working hard on designing the yearbook and it's time to start filling our pages with your pictures!
