My name is Mrs. Mayer and I will serve as the Principal of Fairview in Mr. Edward's absence. I started here in 2008 as a Math teacher and left in 2022 as the Assistant Principal of Curriculum. While we will certainly miss Mr. Edwards, I am thrilled to be back home.
We have made it to the final day before Winter Break. I hope everyone enjoys the holiday and students are able to recharge for their return in January.
A few things before we leave on break:
* Students will have a math practice packet to complete over break. They will receive more information on this from their math teachers. We want them to continue practicing those skills while they are out. * History Fair is due January 12th - Winter break will be a good time to get a lot accomplished on their project. All of the information

As Americans living in the melting pot of the world, nearly all of us have a connection to the global community, as well as to past and current events happening around the world. These connections may cause us to feel strongly one way or the other with regard to global conflicts, such as the ones presently occurring in the Middle East, Ukraine, and elsewhere. Our students are witnessing the division on all sides, and of course have their own opinions and reflections.

Hello Falcon Families! I just wanted to take a moment to pass along a few reminders regarding school choice.
1. Parents of 8th graders: The school choice window closes on March 1. If your child is planning to apply to a high school outside of his/her assigned zone, make sure that you do not miss the window! 2. Parents of 6th and 7th graders: You do NOT need to reapply to stay in the IB Prep program for next year. School choice info will roll over for next year. 3. Help spread the word about IB Prep! We so value
